ROY ā Police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian in Roy Wednesday afternoon and then drove away.
A 77-year-old woman was attempting to cross 4400 South at 2350 West, just before 3 p.m., when police say she was hit by a white car.
Paramedics were called, and the woman was transported to the hospital in serious condition, Roy police officer Stuart Hackworth said. Details of her injuries were not given.
Hackworth said police were searching for the driver and vehicle involved, which is potentially an Audi. The car would have damage to the front passenger side or grill area, he said.
