Motorcyclist killed after losing control, crashing in Ogden

OGDEN — A man died after losing control on a motorcycle and crashing in Ogden Tuesday afternoon.

Just after 1 p.m., a 58-year-old man was traveling north “at a high rate of speed” near 4000 Airport Road when he lost control of the bike and left the roadway, Ogden police said.

The man sustained significant injuries and was transported to a hospital but died from his injuries after arriving. His identity has not yet been released.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police said Airport Road will be closed throughout Tuesday afternoon while the crash is investigated and cleaned up.
