SOUTH JORDAN — A driver involved in a collision last week has died, police say.

On April 17, a truck with a trailer was heading north on Redwood Road at about 6:30 p.m. when it hit a southbound pickup truck that turned left to go east on 9800 South, South Jordan police said.

The pickup-truck driver was injured and taken to the hospital in critical condition. South Jordan police announced Friday that the driver had died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver’s identity has not been released.

Police said the driver of the truck with a trailer was uninjured and has cooperated with them throughout the investigation.
