WASHINGTON, Washington County — The body of a deceased woman was found by cleaners in a rental property in southern Utah on Sunday.
Police were called about 11:45 a.m. to “a vacation rental property” in the 1200 block of North Bello Aly.
“Cleaners at a vacation rental property had reported the possible presence of a deceased female inside the building. Upon entering the residence, officers discovered a female victim lying on the floor with apparent stab wounds,” according to a statement from Washington police. “The victim was confirmed deceased at the scene under suspicious circumstances.”
Neither the name nor age of the woman has been released. Police said detectives are still gathering evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
